A-I ASSAULT PACK : packcloth nylon

The A-III pack was supplied by EAGLE to the U.S. military special forces such as the U.S. Navy SEALs around 2000. It has been known as a masterpiece of tactical pack since, and it became popular not only among military enthusiasts but also among street youth at the time. Post O'Alls special ordered EAGLE A3 packs in a variety of materials back then. A-III refers to “Assault 3Days,” and was created for equipment storage necessary for a 3-day military operation. For this A-I project, SHIPS made a special order to MIS for their first downsized model, which they call [A-I Assault 1DAY] for daily use. MIS is a government supplier located in California. "A-I ASSAULT PACK”, is made in U.S.A. according to mil-spec in collaboration with Post O'Alls. Will be available at SHIPS and Post O'Alls store.

2000年前後、イーグル社が米海軍のシールズなど特殊部隊向けに軍へ支給していたA-IIIパック。そのデザインとサイズ感から、ミリタリー好きに留まらず、当時のストリート系の若者にまで人気を獲得した名作タクティカルパックとして知られている。そのA-IIIパックをイーグル社製時代に様々な素材でコラボを展開していたのがPost O'Allsである。A-IIIとはAssault 3Day/アサルト３デイの事を指し、３日間の軍事作戦時に必要な装備を収納するために作製されたもの。今回の企画は、デイリーユースに活躍する初のサイズダウンモデル、A-I Assault 1DayとしてSHIPSが別注を行なった。生産背景は、カリフォルニア州内のアメリカ国防省が定めた軍用基準(MIL-SPEC)に対応した指定ファクトリーで生産を行うバッグブランド【MIS】に依頼。アメリカ生産、MIL-SPECに拘った、Post O'AllsとMISコラボ別注バックパックA-I ASSAULT PACKを、SHIPS全店とPost O'Allsの直営店限定で発売を行なう。
