Makers, known for the beautiful handmade shoes crafted by Mr. Shin Tejima, offers classic designs reinterpreted in a form that suits the modern era.

Among their lineup, the driving sandal stands out as a unique presence. Composed only of a leather sole and leather laces, it has a super-classic design that feels as though it has been made for hundreds of years. Yet, it's a style that is almost extinct in the modern day. The sole consists of a leather insole and a Vibram outsole. The strap is made from a single piece of 4mm thick leather cord, specially crafted without any seams through a continuous cut from a single hide. Based on that driving sandal, we have incorporated the unique “Specials” of Post O’Alls.

クラシックなデザインを現代に有効な形で提案しています。そのラインナップの中でも異色の存在と言えるのがドライビング・サンダル。革のソールと紐のみで構成された、まるで何百年も前から作り続けられているような、スーパークラシックなデザイン・・・しかし、現代ではほぼ絶滅しているデザインとも言えます。ソールは革の天板とVibram社のソールで構成されています。ストラップは、一枚革のツナギ裁断によって作られる継ぎ目の無い特製の４ミリの革紐となっています。そのドライビングサンダルをベースに、Post O’Allsならではの”Specials”を盛り込んで頂きました。

Specials : 

For the sole, we use fine-grained, beautifully textured horse butt leather from Italy’s renowned GUIDI.

ソールの天板には、きめが細かく美しいイタリアはGUIDI社のHorse Butt(ホースバット)を使用しています。

Between the leather sole and the Vibram sole, an additional laminated shoulder leather layer is sandwiched to enhance comfort and reliability for urban use.

ソールの単板とVibram社のソールの間には、もう一枚ショルダー部分のラミネート層がサンドウィッチされており、街で履く際の安心感を補強しています。

The color is black, and the stitching is also black, resulting in a clean tone-on-tone finish.

カラーはブラックで、ステッチもブラックのすっきりとしたTone on Tone(同系色)な仕上がりとなっています。

[ About the product ]

1. This product uses natural leather dyed. Therefore, there is a possibility of color migration, so please be careful when wearing white clothing.
2. The leather strap that holds the foot of this product in place is cut from a single piece of leather by a craftsman and finished into a single strap. The strap is a little stiff at first, but after a few days of wear, it will adjust to your foot and eventually become very soft.
3. This product is made by weaving one long leather strap for each foot. When loosening the laces, please loosen the laces on both sides across the heel toward the toes.
4. How to wear

a. Pass the base of the thumb through the noseband.

b. Hook the heel on the two loops in the heel area.

c. Pull the two leather straps vertically to the ground.

d. Pull the tips of the two leather straps firmly perpendicular to the ground.

e. The excess tip can be tucked into the ankle wrap.

[ 商品に関しまして ]

1. 本商品は染料で染め上げた天然皮革を使用しております。その為色移りの可能性がございますので白物衣料を着用する際はご注意ください。
2. 本商品の足を固定する革紐ですが職人が1枚の革から裁断し1本の紐に仕上げております。最初は少し硬いですが、2〜3日程の着用で足に馴染み最終的にはとても柔らかくなりますが、1枚革で製作している為着用してちぎれるという事は余程の事がない限りございませんのでご安心して着用時は締め上げて下さい。
   
3. 本商品は片足で1本の長い革紐を編んで製作しています。緩める際は土踏まずとその反対側部分(革紐を穴に通している部分)をつま先側に緩めてご着用下さい。
4. 着用方法ですが、

a. 鼻緒部分に親指付け根を通します。

b. 踵部分の2本の輪に踵を引っかけます。

※踵に輪を引っ掛けにくい場合は、土踏まずとその反対側の革紐が通っている穴部分からつま先方向に向かって革を送り出して下さい。

c. 革紐の先端部分(2本)を地面に対して垂直にしっかり引いて下さい。

d. その後は前から交差、もしくは後ろから交差して真結びにします。

e. 余った先端は足首に巻いた部分に挟んでOKです。

使用直後はきついかもしれませんが、1本の革紐で製作しているため全体的に満遍なく馴染んでいきます。
