The model name, St. Louis, is based on the St. Louis Fire Department chambray shirt from the 1930s, which the designer has kept since the 1980s. The work shirt's home base type pocket, which was adopted in Post O'Alls' second shirt model #1202, has been inherited from the designer's idea of the most standard and beautiful pocket.

Named and designed after 1930s St. Louis Fire Dept. chambray work shirt from my collection, it shares same pocket design with our 2nd oldest work shirt - #1202 From 1993. I believe these pockets are still the most standard and beautiful home-base shaped pockets in work shirt history.
