BAGSINPROGRESS x Post O'Alls

We ordered the Fannypack Crossbody in Digital Camo from BIP = Bags In Progress, an original bag brand from New York. Digital Camo was frequently used by Post O'Alls around the year 2000, in a variety of fabrics such as cotton ripstop and nylon oxfords. We chose Digital camo in military spec Gore-Tex fabric for this revival.

New Yorkのオリジナル・バッグブランド、BIP = Bags In ProgressのFannypack Crossbodyを、デジタルカモでオーダーしました。デジタルカモは2000年前後のPost O’Allsでは頻繁に使われた生地で、当時はリップストップやナイロン素材など多角的に展開していました。今回のリバイバルは、ミリタリースペックのゴアテックスバージョンという贅沢なものとなっています。

Ballistics x Post O'Alls

The A-III Pack is known as a masterpiece of modern military bags.

Nowadays, the A-III Pack is attracting attention from designers all over the world.

Post O'Alls' relationship with the A-III Pack goes back to the late 1990s. Initially, Post O'Alls ordered the A-III Pack from Eagle Industries, an iconic American military bag supplier, then Ballistics Industries. We have been working with Ballistics Industries since the 1990s, and have collaborated with them on various projects in the past. This season, we have commissioned a special order for the A-III Pack again.

The A-III Pack is made of lightweight nylon ripstop material that is great to use in town, and is ordered in the Post O'Alls’ two basic colors, Black and Navy.

昨今では世界中のデザイナーから注目される存在になりました。

Post O’AllsとA-III Packとの関係は古く、1990年代の後半まで遡ります。当初はアメリカのミリタリーバッグ・サプライヤーのエースであったEAGLE社に発注しており、その後は日本の誇るBallistics Industriesに制作を依頼するようになりました。Ballistics Industriesとは1990年代からのお付き合いで、過去に様々なコラボレーションを展開して頂きましたが、今シーズンは再びA-III Packの別注を依頼しています。

今回は軽量で街向きなナイロンリップストップ素材を採用、ブラックとネービーというPost O’Allsの２大ベーシックカラーでオーダーしています。
