Based in New York. Moved to the United States in 1983 and picked a camera as a way to bridge the challenges of language barriers.In 1987, began living in Harlem, laying the foundation for Once in Harlem.Around 1990, started to photograph in Harlem while simultaneously documenting street prostitutes in New York.Published the photo book West Side Rendezvous in 2011, followed by Once in Harlem in 2018, which showcase a series of portraits and cityscapes from Harlem.
