[2024FW Limited Release vol.4] Herringbone printed corduroy
The last of the 2024 Limited Release Vol. 4 is a revival of the herringbone printed corduroy released by Post O'Alls in the early 2000s. This fabric is a 100% cotton corduroy with a herringbone print, which makes it look like herringbone tweed. Corduroy with prints became popular in the U.S. from the 1920s to the 1950s, and initially stood as a substitute for wool products such as tweed and homespun. As time went by, various variations of prints were developed, and in the 1950s, many variations such as atomic prints, which were popular at that time, were released, achieving a unique development. Around 2000, Post O'Alls fell in love with the rich taste, machine washability, and the fact that it was once extinct, and used it for a wide range of items such as coveralls, outerwear, pants, bags, etc. At the time, it was available in two colors, brown and brick, and now it is available in brown and an updated navy.
