Ranchero 2 has been revived for the first time in about 20 years since the early 2000s. The first generation Ranchero had a home base type pocket, but the second version had an acorn type pocket. This updated version adopts the drop shoulder pattern of vintage Stronghold products, which was the inspiration for Ranchero, and transforms it into a Tex-Mex-style cowboy jacket that was popular in the American Southwest. This time it has been set up with #1397 No.2 Five Pocket, which has appeared for the first time in a while.

The original Ranchero had a home base shaped 1-pocket design, the second version featured an acorn shaped pocket. For this updated version, inspiration is drawn from vintage Stronghold piece, featuring a drop shoulder pattern. It has been reimagined as a Tex Mex style cowboy jacket that was popular in Southwest America. Designed to be paired with the #1397 No.2 Five Pocket (another rare return).
