[10/10 RELEASE] #2106R-SP CRUZER 5-R : wool/cotton nep salt & pepper

Workwear originating from the forestry industry is one of the core categories of Post O’Alls. Among them, the CRUZER series holds a special place in the brand’s history, having seen numerous versions and variations over the years.

The 5-R is inspired by a legendary and elusive piece originally produced in the 1920s by John Rich & Bros., the predecessor of Woolrich. Designer Takeshi Ohfuchi based the first version—released in 2010—on a vintage original from his personal collection.

The current model, introduced last season, features pattern-making that faithfully traces the vintage piece, resulting in a low-balanced silhouette and distinctive pocket placement that give it a truly unique presence.

木こり系のワークウェアを出自とするプロダクトは、Post O’Alls の要となるカテゴリーのひとつ。なかでも CRUZER シリーズは歴代のバージョンや展開するバリエーションも多く、ブランドにとって特に思い入れの深い存在です。

こちらの 5-R は、ウールリッチの前身であるジョン・リッチ＆ブラザーズ社が1920年代に製造していた幻の名作にインスパイアされた一着であり、デザイナー大淵 毅が所有するそれをベースとして2010年に初代をリリース。

昨シーズンに加わった現行モデルは、ヴィンテージの実物から忠実にトレースしたパターンメイキングを採用しており、低重心なシルエットとポケットが独特の佇まいを生み出しています。
