#3225DV-8DI Town & Country Safari DV : 8oz.denim indigo

The history of the Town & Country series goes back over a quarter of a century. Inspired by hunting jackets from the 1930s, it began in the late 1990s with the release of #1231 Town & Country, which embodied an outdoor and travel mood. Since then, a wide variety of versions have been introduced. Last season, a new model was launched—crafted using dress shirt tailoring technics, featuring the three chest pockets symbolic of #1231, along with a button-down collar and roll-up sleeves (secured when rolled), elements also favored in our safari shirts from the late ’90s.

This season, a collarless (DV) version is introduced. The simple and clean neckline enhances the appeal of layered styling. Matching pants are also available, allowing for a coordinated setup.

Town & Country シリーズの歩みは四半世紀以上も遡ります。1930年代のハンティングジャケットから感化されて ’90年代後半にリリースしたアウトドア＆トラベルムードのシャツ #1231 を出発点に、以降、多種多様なバリエーションを発表してきました。そして昨シーズンに登場したのが、ドレスシャツの縫製技術で仕立てた新たなボディに #1231 の象徴である３つの胸ポケット、さらに同じく ’90年代後半に発売して支持を得たサファリシャツの特徴的なボタンダウンカラー及び袖をまくって留められるロールアップスリーブを取り入れた一枚です。

今季は、その襟を排したDV（ノーカラー）仕様を提案。スッキリとしたネックラインにより、いっそうレイヤードが映えるデザインとなっています。セットアップ対応のパンツも用意しており、上下で合わせることも可能です。
