This band collar version is based on the original BL (Buttonless) Shirt found within Post O’Alls’ early design archives from before the brand’s official debut. The signature gathered detailing across the front and back yokes was not possible to manufacture in 1993, but Japanese manufacturing techniques have now made this long-awaited production possible. A rare piece that captures the spirit of an American traditional shirt from more than a century ago—an aesthetic that has nearly disappeared in the modern era—this shirt carries a timeless character that bridges history and contemporary craftsmanship. Post O’Alls made its debut in 1993, but among the design sketches that designer Takeshi Ohfuchi had created and archived before launching the brand, there was a particular shirt that could not be released at the time. It featured gathers incorporated into both the front and back yokes. The design was eventually forgotten, as it was considered impossible to produce due to the limitations of sewing techniques available at the time in US. More than three decades later, however, it has finally made its debut, faithfully revived from the original sketches discovered at the designer’s family home. The fundamental design follows the same concept as the BL (Buttonless) Shirt released in the mid-2000s—a soft-collared button-down-inspired shirt with no buttons on the collar—while the defining difference is the addition of gathers across the front yoke. In terms of specifications, it is a distinctly vintage American traditional shirt, yet viewed today, it takes on a surprisingly casual and contemporary character.

Post O’Allsのブランドデビュー以前の古いデザインアーカイブに存在したオリジナルBL（＝ボタンレス）シャツのバンドカラーバージョンになります。特徴となるヨーク前後に配されたギャザー処理は1993年当時のアメリカの工場では生産不可能でしたが、最近日本の工場の技術によって生産可能になりました。現代では絶滅した１００年以上前のアメリカン・トラッドなムードを感じる事のできる稀有なシャツとなっています。 Post O’Allsは1993年にデビューしましたが、ブランドを始める以前にデザイナーの大淵が書き溜めていたデザイン画の中で当時リリース出来なかったモデルがあります。それは、ヨークのフロントとバックにギャザーの入るシャツでした。当時は縫製上の都合で生産不可能であったため忘れられていましたが、デザイナーの実家から出てきた古いデザイン画をもとに30数年越しのデビューとなりました。基本デザインは2000年代中頃にリリースされたBL（＝ボタンレス）シャツ＝ボタンダウンシャツのようなソフトカラーで襟にボタンの無いもの＝と同様ですが、フロントヨークにもギャザーが入る点が異なります。スペック的にはかなり古いアメリカントラッドなシャツですが、今見るとカジュアルな印象となっています。
