#3232B-HBW Original BL Band Collar Shirt : high count broadcloth white

Post O’Alls debuted in 1993, but the concept for the brand had been in development for several years prior. Among the design sketches created during that period, there was one model that could not be released at the time: a shirt featuring gathers on both the front and back yoke. Due to production constraints back then, it was forgotten. However, upon discovering the old sketches at the designer’s family home, the shirt finally made its debut more than 30 years later. The basic design is similar to the BL (Buttonless) shirt released in the mid-2000s—a soft-collar button-down style shirt without collar buttons—but differs by having gathers on the front yoke as well. Although the specs are very classic, the overall impression is casually fresh. This is the band collar version, and the cleric (with contrasting white collar and placket) detail feels fresh once again.

Post O’Allsは1993年にデビューしましたが、ブランドの構想自体はその数年前からありました。そんな時期に書き溜めていたデザイン画の中で、当時唯一リリース出来なかったモデルがあります。それは、ヨークのフロントとバックにギャザーの入るシャツでした。当時は縫製工程の都合で生産が不可能だったため忘れていましたが、デザイナーの実家から出てきた古いデザイン画を見て、30数年ごしのデビューとなりました。基本デザインは2000年代中頃にリリースされたBL（ボタン・レス）シャツ＝ボタンダウンシャツのようなソフトカラーで襟ボタンが無いもの＝と同様ですが、フロントヨークにもギャザーが入る点が異なっています。スペック的には非常にクラシックですが、カジュアルで新鮮な印象となっています。こちらはそのバンドカラー・バージョンで、クレリックも今また新鮮です。
