Two giants of vintage coveralls featuring distinctive, crooked left chest pocket, SWEET-ORR and BLACK BEAR, were fused in the late 2000s to create the SWEETBEAR coverall. At that time, shirts and short jackets with designs synchronized to that coverall were released, but no bottoms were offered. This season marks the first release of matching pants for the SWEETBEAR line. Bandtop is a pre-war term referring to waist overalls—also known as carpenter or painter pants.

ビンテージの変形転がりポケットを持つカバーオールの二大巨頭である、SWEET-ORRとBLACK BEAR。その二つをフュージョンして2000年代後半に登場したのが、SWEETBEARというカバーオールでした。当時、そのカバーオールにシンクロするデザインのシャツやショートジャケットなどがリリースされましたが、ボトムスの展開はされませんでした。そんなSWEETBEARのマッチング・パンツが今シーズン、初のリリースになりました。Bandtop（バンドトップ）は、戦前の言い方で、ウエストまでのオーバーオール＝ペインターパンツ＝を指しています。
