#1114R NAVY Parka 3-R HBDN : herringbone denim navy

The NAVY Parka debuted in the original lineup in the brand and was a popular standard item in the first half of the 1990’s-2000’s era. At that time it was available as a pullover and open-front style as well and has gone through many variation changes. For 22 S/S, a soldier style front opening version 3 is reissued. This R version features a hood shape modified to be more easy to use and removes the wind flap in the pursuit to be more cool and lightweight.

 ブランドデビュー時からラインナップにあり、1990〜2000年代前半の人気定番であったNAVY Parka。当時はプルオーバーを始めとして、いくつものバージョンをリリースしていました。`22S/Sシーズンでは、兵士が前開きにモディファイしたバージョン３をリイシュー、今回はRバージョンとしてフードの形状を街着として使い易いようにモディファイ、さらにウインドフラップを排除して、涼しさ／軽快さを追求しています。ショーツを始めどんなボトムスにも合わせ易く、前開きなのでレイヤリングの自由度も高くなっています。この一枚はヘリンボーン織りのデニム素材を使用していますが、縦糸横糸両方にインディゴ染めの糸を使用しているユニークなもので、通常のデニムと比べ、どことなく東洋的で魅力的な表情を持っています。
