#3326-MDF California Pegtop : mid weight denim fade blue

This season’s new model, the California Pegtop, features a style that was popular in 1950s America—characterized by two pleated fronts and a tapered silhouette. Designer Takeshi Ohfuchi favored wearing denim and corduroy pegged pants paired with coveralls during the 1980s. While traditional pegtop pants typically have patch back pockets, the Post O’Alls version has more versatile double welt back pockets.

今シーズンの新型、カリフォルニア・ペグトップ。ペグトップは1950年代のアメリカでポピュラーだったスタイルで、ウエストバンドなし＋２プリーツの入ったフロントとテーパードしたシルエットが特徴となっています。デザイナーの大淵は、1980年代にデニムやコーデュロイのペグトップをカバーオールと合わせて好んではいていました。バックポケットはパッチポケットがデフォルトのペグトップですが、Post O’Allsバージョンは馴染ませ易いWウエルトポケットになっています。
