#3326-WC California Pegtop : wooly charcoal heather

California Pegtop debuted in SS2026. Pegtops were popular in 1950s America, particularly on the West Coast, defined by a waistband-less construction, two front pleats, and a tapered cut. Designer Takeshi Ohfuchi fondly recalls pairing denim or corduroy pegtops with coverall in the 1980s. The Post O’Alls version features dressier double-welt back pockets, creating a subtle fuss when worn with workwear.

2026SSにデビューしたカリフォルニア・ペグトップ。ペグトップは1950年代のアメリカ、特に西海岸でポピュラーだったスタイルで、ウエストバンドなし＋２プリーツの入ったフロントとテーパードしたシルエットが特徴です。デザイナーの大淵は、1980年代にデニムやコーデュロイのペグトップをカバーオールと合わせるのが好きでした。Post O’AllsバージョンはバックポケットがドレッシーなWウエルトになっており、ワークウエアと合わせると軽い摩擦感を体験できる設定となっています。
