Returning after a slight absence, Northwest 2 marks the latest evolution of a signature piece. Designer Takeshi Ohfuchi, inspired by the many vintage Eddie Bauer vests he had collected and worn over the years, sought to create a vest that pushed the concept further and introduced the original Northwest in 2012. Following several variations, including shawl-collar and hooded editions, the design has arrived at its current form: Northwest 2. The neckline has been reimagined from the original Northwest with a V-shaped opening, giving it a more versatile character suited for an even wider range of styling possibilities.

久々のリリースとなる、Northwest 2。様々なビンテージのエディ・バウアー製のベストを着ていたデザイナーの大淵が、もう一歩踏み込んだベストが欲しくなって2012年にリリースしたのがNorthwestでした。その後、ショールカラーやフード付きなどの派生したバリエーションを経て、現在のバージョン2に行き着きました。オリジナルのNorthwestからネックラインがV型に変更され、より多くのシチュエーションでの活躍が期待出来るムードを持っています。
